A week or two after the session, you’ll come back to view a gallery of around 20 beautifully edited images, and from there, you can choose the package that suits your family best. "What should my teen wear for the session?"
Encourage them to wear something that reflects their personality. Whether they love bright, bold outfits or prefer something more neutral and timeless, the goal is for them to feel confident and comfortable. Avoid busy patterns or large logos to keep the focus on them.
"Can we include family or friends in the shoot?"
While the teen session is focused on your child, you're welcome to include a few shots with family members or friends if you'd like! Just let us know in advance so we can plan for it.
"How long will the session last?"
Teen sessions typically last about 60-90 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to get creative and capture a variety of looks and poses without rushing.
Yes! We can either stay in the studio or venture outdoors if your teen prefers a natural setting. Let us know what vibe you're going for, and we’ll help select the perfect spot. Location sessions are subject to a travel surcharge. Please feel free to get in touch for more details!
"How do I prepare my teen for the photoshoot?"
Encourage them to be themselves! A good night’s sleep and a positive mindset will help them feel at ease. It’s also a good idea to bring a couple of outfit options and any accessories or items that represent their hobbies or interests.
"How many photos will we receive?"
After the session, you'll be invited to view a curated selection of around 20 fully edited, high-quality images. The final number of images you take home will depend on the package you choose.
Absolutely! If your teen is passionate about sports, music, or any hobbies, feel free to bring along relevant props to make the session more personal.
"Will there be professional hair and makeup?"
We don’t include hair and makeup in our teen sessions, but if you’d like to hire a professional, you're welcome to do so. Many teens prefer doing their own hair and makeup, as it lets them stay true to their style.
"When will we receive the photos?"
You can expect your final images within 48h after your viewing, delivered to you via a downloadable link in high resolution.
"What if my teen is camera-shy?"
Don’t worry! We create a relaxed environment and take the time to get to know them. We’ll make sure they feel comfortable and confident, capturing their true personality in every shot.
"Do you offer weekend session dates?"
I know coordinating everyone’s schedules for a teen photoshoot can be a challenge, especially when it comes to juggling work, school, and other commitments. To help with this, I offer selected weekend sessions to make it easier to find a time that works for everyone but please book in advance as any weekend availability gets booked up really quickly.

"Can I bring our dog to the shoot?"
Absolutely! I love when teens bring their pets to the studio—dogs are always welcome to join the photoshoot. Pets are part of the family, and I’m more than happy to include them in your session to capture those special moments with your furry friend (or friends!). Just let me know in advance, and we can plan to make your dog feel comfortable and included in the shoot!
"Can I bring more than one set of outfits for the session?"
Yes, absolutely! You're welcome to bring more than one set of outfits for the session. Having a variety of looks can add depth and fun to your photos, so feel free to bring a few options that reflect your style!
"What if we need to reschedule?"
Life happens, and if something comes up, we can reschedule your session. Just let me know as early as possible, and we’ll find a new date that works for you.
"How do I book my teen's photoshoot?"
Booking your teen's photoshoot with Dinky Feet Studio is easy and straightforward. Here’s how you can secure your session:
1. Contact Us: Reach out to us via phone, email, or our online contact form. Let us know that you’re interested in booking a teen session and provide a few details about your ideal date and preferred timing.

2. Secure Your Spot: Once we’ve settled on a date and time, we’ll send you a confirmation email with all the details of your session. This will include information on what to expect, how to prepare, and any necessary forms and agreements. To finalise your booking, we require a £99 deposit which is fully credited towards your purchase. This ensures that your session is reserved and allows us to allocate the time and resources needed to make your shoot special. Dates are allocated on first come first served basis and won't be secured without the deposit.
3. Consultation: We’ll arrange a consultation (this can be in-person or via a Zoom call) to discuss your preferences, answer any questions. This is also an opportunity to discuss wardrobe options, and any special requests you may have.
4. Enjoy Your Photoshoot: On the day of your session, arrive at the studio ready to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We’ll take care of the rest!

We don’t charge for the session itself. It is completely free to attend the shoot and have pictures taken of you and your teens. You are under no obligation to purchase any images if you choose not to, in which case the session will have cost you nothing. However, if you wish to order a few individual images or prints rather than a package, there is a minimum order fee of £299.
£99 non-refundable retainer required in order to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your final order.
