Your pet is more than just an animal; they’re a beloved family member and your own personal cheerleader!
Every time you walk through the door, they burst with excitement, wagging their tail and showering you with kisses that say, “I’m so glad you’re home!” They have a special gift for lifting your spirits, chasing away the stress of the day with their silly antics and unconditional love.
At Dinky Feet, we believe your furry friend deserves to be celebrated, and that’s where our pet photography sessions come in! These fun-filled shoots are all about capturing those candid moments that showcase your pet's unique personality.
Picture this: you and your pet sharing a laugh (yes, I said laugh!) as they do something goofy, or perhaps a serene shot of them looking all wise and cuddly. Every photo we take tells a story—a story of loyalty, playfulness, and that incredible bond you share. These images will become cherished keepsakes, reminders of the happy times and the love you both share.
As a dog person through and through, I have spent my whole life surrounded by dogs— from German Shepherds and sausage dogs to Dalmatians and my current 13-year-old Border Lakeland Terrier.
I not only have a deep understanding of various breeds but also a genuine love for working with all types of dogs, from tiny ones that fit in your pocket to the gentle giants like Newfoundlands.
So grab your leash, bring your pet's favorite toy, and let’s create some magic together! With Dinky Feet, you’ll walk away with a collection of stunning images that truly reflect the joy your pet brings to your life.
Let's make memories that will make you smile every time you look at them!
“What should I bring to the photoshoot?”
Bring your pet’s favourite toys, treats, and any props you'd like to incorporate into the session. If you have specific outfits or accessories for your pet, feel free to bring those as well!
"Can I include my other pets or family members in the session?"
Absolutely! We love capturing the whole family together, whether that includes other pets or family members. Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
"How long will the session last?"
Sessions typically last around 1 hour, but we allow for flexibility to ensure your pet is comfortable and relaxed.
"What should my pet wear (if anything)?"
Pets can be photographed in their natural state, but if you have fun accessories or outfits, feel free to bring them along! Just make sure your pet is comfortable.
"What if my pet is anxious or doesn’t cooperate?"
No worries! We’ll take our time, use patience, and create a relaxed environment. If your pet needs breaks or isn’t feeling it, we can adjust the session as needed.
"What kind of props can we use during the shoot?"
We can provide some props, or you can bring your own! Common items include blankets, baskets, toys, and anything that showcases your pet's personality.
"Will you help us with poses, or should we have specific ideas in mind?"
I’ll guide you through poses, but if you have specific ideas, I’d love to hear them! Collaboration is key to creating beautiful images.
"Can I bring treats or toys to help get my pet’s attention?"
Definitely! Treats and toys are great for getting your pet to look at the camera and capturing their attention during the shoot.
"Do you offer location sessions, or is everything in-studio?"
We offer both studio and location sessions! Just let us know your preference, and we’ll work together to find the best spot for your shoot.
"How long will it take to receive the edited photos?"
You can expect to receive your edited digital photos within 48 hours after your viewing. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process!
"What happens if it rains on the day of an outdoor shoot?"
If the weather isn’t cooperating, we can either reschedule or move the session indoors to our studio. Your comfort and your pet's comfort are our top priority.
"How do I prepare my pet for the session?"
Ensure your pet is well-fed, rested, and has had a bit of exercise before the session. This helps them feel relaxed and ready for their photo op!
"Are there any breed restrictions for the photoshoot?"
There are no breed restrictions! I love working with all types of pets, big or small, and each has its unique charm.
"Can I book a session for more than one pet?"
Yes! You can absolutely book a session for multiple pets. Just let us know so we can plan accordingly to accommodate everyone.
"Dogs make me smile . Always. If it wasn't for me finding my calling in photography, I would probably run a dog shelter. My idea of a good holiday is volunteering in a dog sanctuary in a warm country.
Dogs are flawless, they love unconditionally and their trust in you never fades. They not only offer companionship, but their unwavering loyalty means they stand by us through thick and thin, offering comfort on tough days and celebrating with us on good ones.
Every wag of a tail, every bark, and every playful leap is like a language I’ve come to understand. The way they look at you with those big, expressive eyes is pure magic. It’s second nature to me—whether its a pup or an older dog that walks through the door, I can sense their personality immediately. Whether they’re the shy type or the playful clown, I know how to connect with them, and it just clicks.
Ever since my parents brought home our first family dog, I was hooked. I devoured books about different breeds, their quirks, and how to care for them. I spent countless afternoons watching dog shows. My love for dogs grew deeper with each new furry friend that came into my life.
Building forts and creating obstacle courses for my childhood pups are some of my fondest memories. There was an art to crafting those spaces where they could run and play, a joy that has never faded. The laughter we shared while trying to train them or coax them into silly tricks is something I hold close to my heart.
Photographing dogs brings me back to those cherished moments, filling me with genuine happiness. Dogs have always fascinated me—not just as pets but as unique individuals with their own stories.
Their loyalty, love, and boundless energy inspire me to capture their essence through my lens. Each click of the camera captures not just an image but a memory, a connection, and a moment in time that I hope their families will treasure forever."
