These sessions are designed to highlight your unique beauty, confidence, and personality in a relaxed and professional setting. Whether you're looking for classic portraits, something contemporary, or an editorial feel, we tailor the experience to your vision.

With careful attention to styling, lighting, and posing, we create striking images that you’ll cherish for years to come.

You’ll be invited back to my studio one to two weeks after your session to view your final gallery of approximately 20 beautifully enhanced and fully edited images. At that point, you can decide which package you'd like to purchase.

"I'm not photogenic. Will you help me pose?"

Absolutely! No one walks into my studio knowing exactly how to pose—that’s my job. I’ll guide you every step of the way so you look and feel amazing.

"Should I get hair and makeup done?"

Absolutely! Having your hair and makeup done professionally isn’t a requirement, but it’s a beautiful way to celebrate yourself and make the experience feel extra special. It’s not just about the final look—it’s about taking a moment for yourself, feeling pampered, and starting the day in a relaxed, confident way. Whether you choose a natural glow or something more polished, a professional touch can enhance your portraits while still keeping you looking like you. But if you feel best doing your own, that works too! This session is all about making you feel amazing in whatever way suits you best.

"Can I bring a friend or partner?"

Of course! Whether you want a solo session or to include a loved one, we’ll make sure the experience is special.

"I’m nervous. How do I prepare?"

Totally normal! The best thing you can do is trust the process. Get a good night’s sleep, hydrate, and come with an open mind—I’ll take care of the rest.

"What kind of portraits do you take?"

We create elegant, timeless portraits that reflect your personality. Whether you want something classic, editorial, moody, or light and airy, we’ll tailor the session to your style.

"Do you retouch the images?"

Yes! All images are professionally edited to enhance your natural beauty while keeping everything looking authentic.

"When will I see my final images?"

You’ll be invited back to the studio 1-2 weeks after your session for a private viewing where you can choose your favourite portraits.

"What if I want more images than my package includes?"

You can always purchase additional images at your viewing appointment—there’s no pressure, just options!

"Where do the sessions take place?"

At my Worksop studio, where we have full control over lighting, backgrounds, and styling for the best results.

"It's my first professional photoshoot. What shall I expect?"

First things first—I’m incredibly approachable, and I promise to talk you out of any stress or anxiety before we even start. If you choose to book a consultation with me before your shoot (which is included in your session, so I *highly* recommend making time for it), we’ll have a chance to connect, chat, and get comfortable with each other.

I also want to understand your reason for booking this shoot—because trust me, there are so many and they are all valid.

Some of my clients come in to celebrate love, while others are celebrating the finalisation of a divorce. Some want to mark an "all-clear" after a tough health battle, while others are celebrating a major career milestone.

Some just want to feel amazing in their own skin again, and some simply need beautiful content for their socials.

Whatever your reason, it's yours—and it matters. My job is to make sure you walk away with images that reflect exactly who you are, at this moment in your life, in the most stunning and authentic way possible.

"What should I wear?"

Wear something that makes you feel confident! Classic, well-fitted outfits in neutral or deep tones work beautifully.

The right outfit can set the tone for your portraits, so let’s make sure you feel incredible in what you wear!
The best advice? Choose something that makes you feel amazing. Whether that’s a sleek power suit, a flowing dress, a chic jumpsuit, or a well-fitted casual look, your outfit should reflect YOU at your best.

Some things to keep in mind:
- Classic over trendy: Timeless pieces will ensure your images still look incredible years from now.
- Neutral & solid colours: Soft neutrals, deep jewel tones, and classic black always photograph beautifully. Avoid overly busy patterns or large logos that could be distracting.
- Flattering fits: Well-tailored clothing always looks better on camera. Choose outfits that complement your body shape and allow you to move comfortably.
- Layers & textures: A structured blazer, a soft cashmere sweater, or a lace detail can add depth and dimension to your portraits.

If you’re unsure, bring 2–3 outfit choices. I’ll help you decide what works best based on the vibe of the shoot, the lighting, and the backdrop.

"What Should I Bring With Me?"

Beyond just outfits, here are a few extras that can make all the difference:
✔ A pair of different shoes – A classic heel or sleek boots for an elegant feel, but also something comfortable to switch into. I will most likely shoot you barefooted as well, so make sure your feet are well moisturised!
✔ Jewelry & accessories – Statement pieces can elevate your look, but sometimes minimal is best. Bring a few options, and we’ll decide what works best on camera.
✔ Lipstick & powder – Even if you’re not wearing full makeup, a bit of lip colour and translucent powder can keep you looking polished and fresh.
✔ A personal touch – Maybe it’s a special necklace, a journal, a book, a musical instrument, or even a cup of coffee—props can add personality to your portraits.
✔ Hairbrush & touch-up items – Wind, movement, or just natural shifts can change your hair throughout the shoot, so a small brush or hair tie is always handy.
✔ Confidence & an open mind – The most important thing you can bring! I’ll guide you every step of the way, so just relax and enjoy the process.
