Our family photoshoot is suitable for any variety of ages. We can accommodate up to 12 people at our studio in Worksop.

At Dinky Feet, I understand how important capturing your family’s memories can be, which is why I take a gentle, patient approach to each group that walks through my studio door. I love working with children of all ages, even those who might be a bit more spirited, and I’ve found my personal fulfilment in helping families who worry their little ones might be tough to photograph. No matter how tough the day gets, I will never give up on your kids. I want to capture them as they are, and it's not always the poster-perfect photos from a cover of the magazine, but I want those images to reflect you and your individuality as a family.
There’s something truly special about including grandparents in these moments too—it adds a warmth and connection that makes every session feel complete.
Our studio is designed to make everyone feel welcome, with full wheelchair access and a wheelchair-friendly toilet. Whether it's the youngest or eldest members of your family, everyone is invited to be part of the story, including your pets, who are always welcome!
I make sure each session feels relaxed and never rushed, so you’ll leave with a collection of images that really capture your family’s unique spirit. And if the day doesn’t go as smoothly as planned, no worries—we’ll simply rebook the session to ensure everything feels just right, at no extra cost to you.
Once the session is complete, I’ll invite you back to the studio about a week or two later to view a gallery of around 20 carefully edited images. From there, you can choose the package that fits your family best, and those cherished moments will be yours forever.
We will cover products, such as prints, wall art enlargements, canvases and acrylic pieces, but there is never a hard sale at our studio. You choose what works for you.
As part of every session, I usually create two distinct looks.
The first is a darker, moodier set, often using a charcoal grey backdrop. For this, I suggest dressing in deeper tones like navy, dark green, brown, or black. These colours really pop against the darker setting and create a rich, intimate feel.
We’ll also shoot a lighter, more airy set, where I recommend outfits in off-white, cream, light grey, or soft pastels. These images have a fresh, timeless quality that works beautifully year-round, and they look perfect in any room where you choose to display them.
To keep the focus entirely on you and your family, I recommend avoiding logos and patterns—simple, solid colors really help your natural connection shine through in the photos.
"When should I book my family session? Do you offer weekend session dates?"
I know coordinating everyone’s schedules for a family photoshoot can be a challenge, especially when it comes to juggling work, school, and other commitments. To help with this, I offer weekend sessions for larger families to make it easier to find a time that works for everyone.
When you're ready to book, just reach out, and we can look at available dates. I'll work with you to find a slot that fits your family’s schedule, ensuring that everyone can be part of the session without any added stress. If you'd like to lock in a weekend date, it's a good idea to book early, as those slots tend to fill up quickly!

"Can I bring our dog to the shoot?"
Absolutely! I love when families bring their pets to the studio—dogs are always welcome to join the photoshoot. Pets are part of the family, and I’m more than happy to include them in your session to capture those special moments with your furry friend (or friends!). Just let me know in advance, and we can plan to make your dog feel comfortable and included in the shoot!
"What should we wear for the photoshoot?"
I recommend coordinating outfits without being too matchy. Neutral tones, soft pastels, or deep moody colors work best. Avoid bold patterns or logos to keep the focus on your family’s connection. I also shoot two sets—one darker, with colors like navy or dark green, and one lighter, where off-whites and pastels really pop. You are more than welcome to get changed at the studio, and bring all your clothes on hangers to avoid having it all creased.
"Can we just have one set of outfits for the session to avoid wardrobe changes?"
Absolutely. This works well especially if your family is quite large and you'd rather focus of specific group combinations and less on the colours and setup variety. It also works well if you have a few members who are slightly more mature as it makes the whole experience smoother, when we don't make them change half way through the session.
"Can we have a completely different colour set up, not just a neutral grey or white?"
Absolutely! We photograph dark greens, pinks, yellows, oranges and everything in between. Just let us know your colour preference and we will make it happen!
"How long does a family session last?"
Sessions are never rushed, so you can expect it to last around an hour or two. I make sure to take the time to capture a variety of images so you leave with a beautiful gallery of memories.
"When do we get to see our photos?"
After the session, you’ll be invited back to the studio one to two weeks later to view your final gallery of around 20 beautifully edited images. You can then choose the package that works best for you, together with any additional products, like wall art and print enlargements.
"Is the studio accessible?"
Yes! Our studio is fully accessible, with wheelchair access and a wheelchair-friendly toilet to ensure all family members can be part of the session comfortably.
There is also free parking outside the studio.
"What if we need to reschedule?"
Life happens, and if something comes up, we can reschedule your session. Just let me know as early as possible, and we’ll find a new date that works for you.
"What happens if my children aren’t cooperative during the session?"
No need to worry! I have plenty of experience working with children, no matter how energetic or shy they may be. If things don’t go as planned, we’ll simply rebook the session to make sure we get the best images.
"How do I book my family photoshoot?"
Booking your family photoshoot with Dinky Feet Studio is easy and straightforward. Here’s how you can secure your session:
1. Contact Us: Reach out to us via phone, email, or our online contact form. Let us know that you’re interested in booking a family session and provide a few details about your ideal date and preferred timing (keep in mind our youngest model's nap times as we want everyone rested and full of beans).

2. Secure Your Spot: Once we’ve settled on a date and time, we’ll send you a confirmation email with all the details of your session. This will include information on what to expect, how to prepare, and any necessary forms and agreements. To finalise your booking, we require a £99 deposit which is fully credited towards your purchase. This ensures that your session is reserved and allows us to allocate the time and resources needed to make your shoot special. Dates are allocated on first come first served basis and won't be secured without the deposit.
3. Consultation: We’ll arrange a consultation (this can be in-person or via a Zoom call) to discuss your preferences, answer any questions. This is also an opportunity to discuss wardrobe options, and any special requests you may have.
4. Enjoy Your Photoshoot: On the day of your session, arrive at the studio ready to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We’ll take care of the rest!

We don’t charge for the session itself. It is completely free to attend the shoot and have pictures taken of you and your family. You are under no obligation to purchase any images if you choose not to, in which case the session will have cost you nothing. However, if you wish to order a few individual images or prints rather than a package, there is a minimum order fee of £499 due to the time involved in processing, ordering, printing, and creating the necessary versions of files for USB.
£99 non-refundable retainer required in order to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your final order.

Our basic package is perfect for anyone on a budget who still wants the absolute best images for their family.
*Should there be more images in our final gallery on the viewing day, they are available for purchase at £30 per digital file and a matching print.
Your digital images are presented in high resolution on a USB drive where applicable. The digital file collections all include printing rights.
I understand that having the flexibility of buying the digital files allows you to produce prints, enlargements and albums. However, I firmly believe that the beautiful images we are going to create deserve to be displayed using only the best quality products.
Additional prints and products can be purchased at the viewing. All prices are available on our website under the "product tab".
